My younger sister needs to find out how much a boat ride would cost to go to the Stromboli volcano from palmi Italy.. does anybody know where i could find that information? i can't find it on Google anywhere..

Looks like the only ferry/jet is from Naples. Why not cross the strait of Messina into Sicily and go down the coast (stop at Taromina georgeous) and see Etna. Smoking, glows at night. You can hike it safely. Stromboli is dangerous hiking because of all the fissures spewing toxic gases. Etna would be a good 1-2 day trip. Sicily is wild and beautiful.

According to the second site, a round trip in June from Naples is 84 euro for an adult passenger on foot. It costs more if you take a vehicle. I haven't been on this particular route, but have booked ferries through the site to other destinations.

EF tours asked me to be a participant along with several other students in high school to fly to Italy and Greece this June. Any ideas on how I can pass the time? Also, what would be some good, cheap soveneirs to bring back to my friends? Any good tips on light but good packing? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

If you love chocolates, I recommend Cafferel chococlates. They melt in the mouth and don't leave a layer of "oil/fat aftertaste".

During the long flight you won't get bored. Most airplanes now have personal TVs in the back of the seat in front of you, as well as a personal entertainment system for which they provide the headphones. It has lots of music channels and you can play several games on your personal tv also. You can also read lots of magazines. After all of that you will likely fall asleep for a good portion of the flight. Bring some keychains for your friend. They are easy to carry. Or anything that has "made in Italy/Greece" on it. If you want to bring back bigger stuff, put an empty backpack in your checked luggage. This is so you can put your souvenirs in it and use this backpack as your carry-on on the return flight.

my husband is in the military and in april 2011 were moving to Italy, i really want to go to cosmetology school but if i start now im not sure id finish, is there any school you know of in Italy that i could go to? um im very faithful to my husband & this is completely uncalled for i was talkin but going to school wtf? someone really help me nd not write stupid stuff on my questions!
