So, me and my best friend want to move to Italy. So I have a few questions. I want to be a psychiatrists. How much do they make a year in italy? Should I do all my med school in italy or do it in america? Where should we move to? Are there any nice areas for 2 single 20-something year olds to move to? Any info would help

You can' t just move to Italy. You need an immigrant Visa, and you aren' t going to get one. Doctors aren' t paid enough here. It is almost impossible to get into med school in Italy, and if you aren' t fluent in italian don' t even try. Med school takes six years, and in order to become a psychiatrist you' ll have to study another four years. So you' re facing ten years. Rome is very expensive. If you are planning to move here (and you can' t), you' ll have to pay the rent, you' ll have to buy your own food (public universities have no dormitories or refectory), you' ll have to buy your own books and you' ll have to pay for your education, so we' re talking about รข‚¬2500, roughly $3500 a month. So forget about it, unless you are a 1) an E.U. citizen 2) rich 3) an italian speaker. Bye. To the person below me; don' t stoop so low. Do it for yourself. By the way, it' s "you' re a", not "your a". Go back to school.

Financial Aid Italy

Financial Aid Italy?
I want to go to a university in Italy. I have both US and Italian citizenship, but I have never gone to school in Italy. What kind of financial aid (government assistance) can I get? Other than loans.

By law, foreign students are equal to Italian (in Italian Constitution school is basic right); an example of financial help you can be given is here http://www.eng.polorimini.unibo.it/PoloRiminiEn/Students/Administrative+procedures/Tuition+Fees.htm (University of Rimini, but it's the same everywhere). And you can ask for advice to Italian forum devoted to foreign students like this one: http://forum.studenti.it/studenti-stranieri/
